Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with both hand and power tools. This role involves performing tyre installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties
* Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, including cars, vans, coaches & trucks.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre changes and repairs.
* Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
* Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting essential.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role requires moving tyres that can be quite heavy.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
