About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Design Engineer within the Raytheon UK Air Traffic Management Business area. The role will support both the radar Design Authority and the hardware development team, and you will be involved in the following tasks:

* Design of analogue and digital circuits for Air Traffic Radar systems. Take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the hardware under the supervision of the Product Design Authority.
* Document design specifications and implementation details. Participate in design reviews. Uphold hardware design standards and methodologies.
* Realise complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware solutions.
* Collaborate with other team members (hardware and software engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces, and protocols.
* Develop appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove correct operation of the hardware.
* Provide support to manufacturing by answering product queries and resolving technical issues.
* Monitor and report progress of development to the immediate supervisor.
* Proactively support company compliance with Health and Safety legislation through adherence to company policies, processes and practices.
* Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct.


Candidate Requirements


Essential

* Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Electronic Engineering, or Electronic Engineering (achieved or to be completed by 7 September 2026).
* Complete and obtain SC Security Clearance application.
* Flexibility on location and ability to travel to UK facilities and overseas.
* Excellent STEM skills demonstrated through academic achievement.
* A passion for succeeding in a fast‑paced, technology industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
