Internal sales professional
Our client, a market-leading electrical wholesaler, is seeking a talented and ambitious sales professional with electrical wholesale experience to maximize and expand their current and potential customer base.
This is a proactive sales role involving:
1. Taking and making inbound and outbound calls from existing and new customers.
2. Selling products directly to customers at the trade counter.
3. Having a good understanding of electrical products and supplies.
4. Maintaining a clear telephone manner and providing exceptional customer service.
5. Demonstrating a can-do attitude — we always try to make it work for the customer.
6. Paying attention to detail and managing your own workload effectively.
7. Having a positive, hardworking attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Previous internal sales experience in the electrical wholesale or similar trade industry is ESSENTIAL.
9. Being customer-focused with a good sense of humor.
10. Willingness to assist in other areas of the business during busy or holiday periods.
11. Revisiting dormant accounts with a view to reactivation.
12. Liaising with manufacturers to secure the best terms and quoting on special projects.
