The Role
As a Reception class teacher at St Thomas CE Primary School, you will nurture our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey. Working within a supportive Early Years team, you will create a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore and grow. You will plan and deliver rich, play-based learning experiences that support early development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum, while fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You will collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals to lay the foundations for lifelong learning and contribute to the school ethos.
