Responsibilities:
1. Utilize CAE tools such as SolidWorks to produce engineering information, including 3D models and assembly drawings.
2. Provide technical information to support procurement activities.
3. Participate actively in project planning meetings to ensure all targets are met and recovery plans are achieved.
4. Review data and documentation for customers, ensuring responses and reports are accurate and timely.
5. Contribute to the development of innovative products and processes.
6. Maintain industry standards by staying updated on current regulations, practices, technology, and methodologies.
7. Apply conceptual engineering knowledge to complete engineering activities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
2. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
3. Experience using CAD and SolidWorks is essential.
4. Experience generating bills of materials, routings, assembly instructions, and manuals is desirable.
5. Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential; SAP experience is a plus.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Proactive in developing better ways of working and improving processes and practices.
8. Customer-focused, prioritizing customer satisfaction, with an understanding of current and future customer needs.
