About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Heritage Assistant to join our Wollaton Hall & Deer Park team and help us care for and enhance some of Nottinghams most treasured heritage sites.
This is your chance to play a hands-on role working in the park, grounds and formal gardens of our heritage sites. To assist with day-to-day care, maintenance and development of the park and wider site. You will undertake advanced horticulture, nature conservation, promote biodiversity and practical grounds maintenance, working with a range of supportive colleagues and volunteers.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A working background, interest and passion for grounds maintenance, nature conservation, horticulture and/ or park management
* A working knowledge and use of a wide range of vehicles and hand held mechanical equipment, including full driving licence
* Confident Communication and interpersonal skill,s including working successfully in partnership, building and maintaining good working relationships
* The ability to work independentl,y including evenings, weekends, school and public holidays.
* Drive and motivation ability to deliver against challenging objectives with creativity and confidence
