About the role
– Learning Support Assistant
• Working as a Learning Support Assistant across a mixed age setting
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and communication needs
• Providing 1:1 support, small group work and general classroom support
• Helping pupils stay engaged, follow routines and build confidence
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
• Term time only, with flexible placements available
You’ll be part of a supportive environment where smaller groups, clear routines and strong pastoral care help pupils feel settled and ready to learn.
Training and support for a Learning Support Assistant
• No prior school experience required
• Funded training before starting
• Ongoing CPD while working as a Learning Support Assistant
• Continued support from a dedicated consultant
We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant who
• Has an interest in working with children and young people
• Is calm, patient and able to build positive relationships
• Is reliable and willing to learn
• Has experience in care, coaching or similar (helpful but not essential)
• Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS
Pay and benefits
• £14.24 to £15.50 per hour
