About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Electrical Tutor & Assessor to join a friendly, vibrant, and supportive team in Cambridge. In this role, you will deliver engaging vocational training, hands-on instruction, and learner assessments to a wide range of students, helping them build successful careers in the electrical industry.
No prior teaching experience? No problem — full training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver professional, engaging electrical training and practical workshops
2. Assess student performance and support learner development
3. Guide students toward industry success through expert mentoring
4. Manage your own timetable effectively
5. Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated training team
6. Participate in staff development and ongoing professional training
Essential Skills & Experience
7. Fully qualified Domestic Level 3 Electrician
8. Minimum of 5 years’ electrical industry experience
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Good Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
11. Solid English, Maths, and ICT abilities
12. Excellent time management skills
13. Team player with a proactive attitude
14. Willingness to attend staff training and professional development courses
