Job title: Handyperson Department: Contingency Operations Reporting to: Site Manager Location: East Sussex Contract type: Fixed Term Contract 12 months Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm) Shifts inc. weekends and Public holidays Salary: £35,000.00 per annum This role will be primarily carrying out facilities maintenance, maintaining equipment and keeping the premises clean and tidy whilst delivering a first-class service for stakeholders. Procedures Completing tasks at the request of the Site Manager Responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks Carry out unskilled reactive maintenance tasks as requested by the Site Managers, such as: · painting and decorating internally and externally · minor plumbing, such as repairing leaks, unblocking sinks and toilets PAT testing clearing drains general yard and garden work fixing curtains and blinds fitting shelves hanging pictures making flat pack furniture repairing or changing locks installing window restrictor replacing electrical fittings installing household appliances such as washing machines Connect and Collaborate Work closely with your line manager and team members Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager Responsive Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails / messages / calls) Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures Talented Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan Trusted All employees are responsible for ensuring any personal data which Clearsprings Group holds and for which they are responsible, is kept securely and is not under any conditions disclosed to any third party unless that third party has been specifically authorised by Clearsprings Group to receive that information and has entered into a confidentiality agreement.
