Job Overview: This school caters for students aged 11-16. Full-time, Monday - Friday SEN Teaching Assistant role. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs. Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties. Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support strategies. Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student confidence, independence and engagement in lessons. Support behaviour management and emotional wellbeing across the school day. Assist with classroom preparation and differentiated learning activities.
