March Engineering is excited to recruit a Service Desk Administrator to work permanently at our Uddingston office. We seek a hardworking, ambitious individual with a passion for IT. This role is ideal for recent apprentices or those with 1-2 years of experience in IT support roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and in person.
* Manage and prioritize service requests using a ticketing system.
* Escalate complex issues as needed.
* Collaborate with IT team members for seamless service delivery.
* Serve as the first point of contact for staff queries.
* Perform remote 'first time fixes' on network and software issues, including password resets, data restoration, and software rollouts.
* Contribute to process improvements and development.
* Ensure SLA targets are met through effective service delivery.
* Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.
Skills and Experience
* Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and printers.
* Knowledge of Windows OS and Office365/Microsoft packages.
* Server experience is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to quality service.
Qualifications
* UK driving license (desirable).
