About the Role: We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team to cover shifts for a specific service user based in Ladysbridge. The successful Support Workers will support in a range of tasks such as; household tasks and maintenance of tenancy, personal care, support with medication, nutrition and activities. Our service user likes to complete activities such as… Enjoys sitting outside on a nice day and people watching, Country music Watching Emmerdale Looking through tractor magazines Any Farming related activities. About Them: Our service user is an elderly gentleman with Autism, learning Disabilities and has recently been diagnosed with dementia. He will need support with medication administration, personal care, meal prep and household tasks. Also, support with health professionals e.g. GP as and when required. Can display signs of challenging behaviour, so experience with dealing with this would be preferred, but all training will be given. Staff must always follow the behaviour support plan to ensure both staff and service user are safe. Shifts will include the following: Early shifts 07:30-15:00 Late shifts 15:00-22:00 Sleepover 22:00-07:30. This will be shared with another Service User. For continuity of our service user this is the shift pattern we are offering.
