We are seeking to establish a pool of highly motivated and enthusiastic Kindergarten to Year 6 Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.
We are seeking applicants who are motivated, innovative, and possess high quality teaching skills. Ideally, they will be committed to ongoing professional growth, support current whole-school processes, and participate in collaborative planning and instructional coaching.
We seek teachers who should inspire students to develop an enthusiasm for learning in vibrant, engaging and supportive classrooms. Suitable applicants will ideally possess the ability to build strong and valuable relationships with students, staff and the school community. They should exhibit proactive strategies to support and improve student behaviour and engagement, to enable positive outcomes in and out of the classroom.
Suitable applicants will ideally be able to display how they have employed evidence-based teaching practices to significantly improve student outcomes. This should include the use of explicit instruction, and the ability to transfer knowledge from short to long-term memory through effective teaching. They should ideally be knowledgeable in the application of our whole-school priorities and evidence-based teaching programs and practices, such as: Talk 4 Writing, Letters and Sounds and the Science of Reading.
Applicants possessing a strong capacity to plan, present and assess differentiated, challenging and engaging programs, and have a thorough understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum will be highly regarded. Furthermore, they should be able to display how they have used data-informed practice to improve academic and socio-emotional student outcomes.
