Who we’re looking for
* Qualified Family Solicitor – 4 to 20+ years PQE
* Experience in divorce and financial remedy work
* Exposure to private children matter
* Advocacy experience
* Comfortable working with HNW and complex cases
* Keen to support junior lawyers and engage in business development (Desirable)
* Friendly, empathetic, and a team player
What you’ll be doing
* Manage your own caseload of family matters including divorce, finances, children, and cohabitation issues
* Deliver clear, compassionate legal advice to clients
* Represent clients in family proceedings and attend court where needed
* Help mentor and guide junior colleagues
* Contribute to business development and help strengthen the team’s presence in York
* Initially office‑based, then hybrid working with 2 days from home once settled
Salary & Benefits
* £45,000 – £60,000, depending on experience and level
