We are currently partnering with a leading public sector body based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract, with strong likelihood the contract will move to permanent.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, and the hourly rate on offer is c.£16.50 umbrella (subject to experience).
The ideal candidate will be confident with Excel, with the ability to do VLookups and Pivot Tables.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Processing c. 100 invoices per day
2. Resolving queries from suppliers
3. Utilising Excel for reconciliations and analysis
4. Assisting with the weekly payment run
5. Matching PO with GRN
6. Assisting with ad-hoc purchase ledger duties
Experience and skills required:
7. Purchase ledger
8. Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables)
9. Good eye for detail
