Overview
We are looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Wellpets, Worle. You will be warmly welcomed into our cosy farm-house practice, where we pride ourselves on clinics that meet the needs of our local community. We are happy to support relocation for the right candidate.
We offer flexible working arrangements, with options for full time (usually over 4 days) or part time hours. There are no out-of-hours duties, and we can discuss flexibility within your rota to support a healthy work/life balance. You will be required to contribute to our Saturday rota (8:30am – 12:30pm). Our local OOH service provider provides additional support as needed. If you have preferred working hours, let us know and we’ll explore how to accommodate them.
Although this is a sole-charge position, you will have access to an excellent network of local IVC practices for collaboration. Our Yeovil branch of Wellpets is available for discussing clinical cases and mutual support by phone or video conference. We also work closely with Vale Portishead (a hospital) and participate in clinical club meetings.
