Forest Care Selection are currently working with a national children’s charity who deliver a wide range of services to Children and Young People across the country.
This innovative organisation is seeking a Children’s Home Manager to oversee their 3 bed specialist residential childcare setting in the Ilford area.
This is a unique opportunity to lead an established service for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability.
The Children’s Home Manager in Ilford will:
* Oversee an established residential childcare setting and ensure its continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Lead an established staff team to deliver high quality care and support to Children and Young People.
* Become the registered manager of the service under OFSTED.
* Develop positive working relationships with external stakeholders.
The Children's Home Manager in Ilford will need:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or relevant qualification such as Social Work.
* Experience of leading in residential childcare settings ideally as the registered manager or at a deputy level with tenure.
* Knowledge of PBS strategies and behaviour that challenges.
