Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working full-time within a mixed Year 3/4 class, supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Your role will involve:
1. Providing in-class support to pupils across a range of abilities
2. Assisting with small group work and targeted interventions
3. Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
4. Supporting pupils’ academic and social development
5. Contributing to classroom preparation and organisation
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experience working with primary-aged children is highly desirable
7. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but not essential
8. A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
