Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join their team at a prestigious commercial site in Hertfordshire.

Working Hours
4. Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
5. Participation in the on-call rota as required
Key Responsibilities
6. Conduct visual inspections across plant rooms and communal areas
7. Carry out painting, decorating, tiling, carpentry, grouting, and plastering works
8. Undertake basic plumbing and drainage duties, including system flushing
9. Replace and maintain lighting systems, including emergency lighting testing
10. Test fire alarms and inspect fire doors in line with compliance requirements
11. Perform minor electrical works as required
12. Repair and maintain building fixtures, including doors, handles, locks, and windows
13. Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with site requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
14. City & Guilds 18th Edition certification
15. Proven experience in a fabric maintenance or building services environment
16. Strong understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
17. Ability to fault-find single- and three-phase control and distribution circuits
18. Familiarity with lighting systems, motors, UPS systems, emergency generation, and HVAC plant
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
19. City & Guilds or BTEC qualification in Electrical Engineering
20. Experience working with head office or corporate building systems
21. IPAF and/or PASMA certification
22. Additional specialist or technical training
23. Health & Safety qualifications
