Role: Family Support Worker - Children with Disabilities team
Location: Nottingham, NG11 8EW
Salary: £12.02 PAYE or £15.23 UMBRELLA
Hours: Full Time 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide emotional and practical support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.
2. Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
3. Offer guidance on parenting strategies, household management, and accessing community services.
4. Monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes for families.
5. Supporting children who have a range of disabilities
6. Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and progress.
What We're Looking For:
7. A genuine passion for supporting and empowering families.
8. Previous experience in social work, counselling, or a related field.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse families.
10. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
11. Experience with children with disabilities
12. Empathy, patience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
