In France, their venues combine the best of British hospitality with a local twist.
We’re looking for a dynamic, bilingual Pub General Manager to lead the Strasbourg site. You’ll be a natural leader who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance. Fluency in both French and English is essential to connect with a diverse guest base and team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management:
* Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team.
* Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
* Hold regular team briefings and performance reviews.
Guest Experience:
* Ensure every guest receives outstanding service in line with company standards.
* Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively.
* Maintain a warm, vibrant, and welcoming pub atmosphere.
Operations & Compliance:
* Oversee smooth day-to-day operations.
* Manage stock control, supplier orders, and inventory.
* Comply with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Financial & Commercial Performance:
* Drive sales and profit targets.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
* Develop and deliver compelling marketing and promotional initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
* Proven success as a General Manager or Assistant Manager in hospitality (pubs, bars, or restaurants).
* Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
* Fluent in French and English (spoken & written).
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to improve business performance.
* Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
Package:
* Salary up to €50,000 per year
