This role supports B1, HALO, SERPENS, Product Bids, and other Projects within the Survivability Line of Business (LoB).
The ideal candidate has experience working with the UK Ministry of Defence, preferably leading framework or product projects. They should be skilled in engaging with various organizational levels and have a background in strategic program and project management, including setting direction and securing senior stakeholder buy-in to achieve successful outcomes.
You will succeed by applying modern project management techniques and actively developing your professional and personal skills.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Campaign Manager to balance resources and risks, ensuring revenue and cash targets align with business strategies, and managing multiple projects to meet contractual, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
Additionally, you will manage relationships with customers, subcontractors, partners, and internal teams, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Risk management, accurate forecasting, and continuous improvement in delivery capabilities are also essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications and skills required include extensive knowledge of portfolio management, relevant project management certifications (e.g., APM, PMI, Prince2), Agile/Scrum expertise, and experience in product development or research consultancy. Proven ability to work within complex, multi-team environments and strong stakeholder negotiation skills are also necessary.
