We’re working closely with a well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Hexham to recruit a creative and engaging Art Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that places real value on creativity, self-expression, and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities
7. Deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
8. Inspire creativity and confidence through practical and theory-based lessons
9. Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
10. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
11. Work collaboratively with the wider department and pastoral teams
The ideal candidate
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant UK teaching experience
13. Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
14. Confident classroom presence and clear behaviour management
15. Passion for creativity and inclusive education
