Duties
* Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.
* Oversee team management, ensuring staff are motivated and performing at their best.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations.
* Support the Head Chef in menu planning and culinary development.
* Train new staff members on kitchen procedures and food preparation techniques.
* Help coordinate service during busy periods, including bartending when necessary.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
* Proven experience in a culinary role, with strong food preparation skills.
* Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Experience in food production processes within a kitchen setting.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Bartending experience is advantageous but not essential.
* A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
