Job summary
Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Software Product Test Engineer for a contract role in Blackwood, Wales.

Important:
* Applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance due to the nature of the role.
* 6-month initial contract.
* 3-4 days onsite per week in Blackwood, Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct requirements analysis.
* Generate test plans, cases, and reports.
* Configure equipment and networks for testing environments.
* Execute and analyze tests.
* Debug software integration issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Manage configuration control.
* Analyze and define task requirements.
* Investigate and resolve issues.
* Participate in meetings and support project teams.
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or related field.
* Experience with HPQC/ALM is desirable.
* Understanding of the Software Engineering Life Cycle.
* Knowledge of networking infrastructure.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and configuration management skills.
* Ability to analyze and debug software issues.
* Knowledge of BCIP system and Tactical C4I Systems is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Motivated, professional, flexible, and innovative.
* Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
