Role: HGV Technician
Location: Sutton
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours
Shifts: Alternating shifts 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm (30-minute paid break)
Saturdays: Alternate Saturdays, 6:00am–12:00pm (overtime paid)
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a respected commercial vehicle company at their busy workshop in Sutton. This role offers stability, shift variety, and hands-on mechanical work across a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers.

The Role:
* Carry out routine servicing and repairs on HGVs, LGVs, and trailers to VOSA/MOT standards
* Perform fault diagnostics and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems
* Attend breakdowns and roadside repairs as required
* Liaise with the parts department to source correct parts
* Complete service sheets and job cards accurately and on time
* Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and workshop best practices
* Maintain high standards of workshop tidiness and organisation
The Requirements:
* Previous experience as a HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter
* Recognised technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) or proven hands-on experience
* Full UK driving licence required; HGV/LGV licence desirable
* ADR certification beneficial (not essential)
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication and team-working abilities
* Health & Safety awareness
