We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner based at Stanford Court, Birmingham B12.
The role entails collaborating closely with the Operations Director and senior management team todeliver an efficient and proactive HR service. You will guide managers and employees on HR policiesand best practices that align with Employment Law. By leveraging your expertise, you will be critical infostering a workplace culture of productivity, fairness and growth.
To achieve this, you will need to stay up to date with the latest developments in Employment Law andensure that all HR policies comply with these regulations. You will develop a deep understanding of theorganisation's objectives and the needs of its employees to provide tailored HR solutions that driveresults.
Please note this is a 6-month fixed term contract with a view to extend.

Dartmouth House is a 16-bed male long-term complex care mental health inpatient unit based inHandsworth Wood, Birmingham.
Montague Court is an 18-bed male long-term complex care mental health inpatient unit based inEdgbaston, Birmingham.
Stanford Court is a 19-bed male mental health high dependency unit based in Highgate, Birmingham.
Orchard House is an 8-bed residential step-down service based in Erdington, Birmingham, which allowsfor the extension of the long-term complex care pathway.
Main duties of the job
Your primaryresponsibilities will include being the expert in all people-related mattersand providing advice, coaching and training to managers as needed. You will provideconsistent HR guidance to managers and assist them with employee relationsactivities such as sickness absence cases, complex cases, and employmenttribunal actions. Additionally, you will advise on all HR disciplines, supportmanagers at relevant meetings, and assist with investigation meetings andhearings.
You will help theleadership team manage talent processes, decrease turnover, and improveretention and engagement by providing remedial actions. Furthermore, you willassist the CEO and Director of Operations with the annual salary increaseprocesses and provide market benchmark activity.
You will design anddeliver a recruitment strategy, overseeing all recruitment administration, suchas placing advertisements, organising interviews, shortlisting job applicants,and conducting interviews as required. You will also assist in the onboardingprocess for successful candidates, gaining references, and processing DBSchecks.
You will beresponsible for accurately managing HR administration, starting from new hires,mid-employment and leavers, and preparing staff files. You will also write andreview HR policies and associated documents.

* CIPD Qualification
* Degree level education
Experience
* Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK Employment Law, HR principles and practices.
* Proven experience leading or participating in HR projects that drive organisational change and improvement.
* 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with demonstrated expertise in HR operations and project management.
* Proven track record in successfully managing and developing an HR function.
* Experience in managing a team and allocating workload.
* Understanding of Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
* Provide expert guidance, support and coaching on HR matters.
* Experience working on own initiative.
* Demonstrable experience in a hospital/clinical setting.
