Job Description
1. Advise clients on cybersecurity compliance requirements for government contracts, including NIST and CMMC standards.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate cybersecurity-related provisions in government contracts and subcontracts.
3. Assist clients in responding to cybersecurity incidents and reporting obligations under government regulations.
4. Conduct legal research on emerging cybersecurity laws and regulations impacting government contractors.
5. Provide guidance on data protection and privacy laws as they relate to government contracts.
6. Support government investigations and audits related to cybersecurity compliance.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address cybersecurity legal risks effectively.
8. Deliver training and updates to clients on evolving cybersecurity requirements in the government sector.
