Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant - Bank at Ashurst Mews Care Home you’ll focus on delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
* Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and promptly escalated any identified risks.
* Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
Qualifications
* Clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Initiative, respect for residents and other people in the home.
* Efficient work style, able to follow reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Adaptive and flexible enough to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
