Please visit The Sandwell Deal via this hyperlink https://sandwelldeal.co.uk/ Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026 The Families First for Children Programme aims to improve how families are supported to enable children to remain safely within their own families and communities, and to ensure children are protected from harm both inside and outside the home. To support this, Sandwell Children's Trust are seeking a Service Support Officer to support the Trusts Family First Programme. As a Service Support Officer working in the Trust you will: - Provide vital business admin support to the Families First Service. Monitoring the relevant inboxes Maintain accurate records and uploading of documents to social care systems Scheduling meetings and distributing invites via Microsoft Outlook with MS Teams links and typing of accurate meeting minutes. Prioritising incoming post and messages, alerting officers & practitioners to matters which require urgent attention. Maintaining files and record systems including scanning and uploading of documents Be responsible for setting up and supporting new employees with the use of equipment and using the in-house Children’s system. Person requirements: Will hold NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent. Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role. You need to be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages. Have good communication and telephone skills. Have good organisational skills and ability to prioritise your own workload. You must also be able to work independently and work well as part of a team. Have experience in minute taking of complex meetings. A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
