GPW Recruitment are working with an established, specialist manufacturer in Skelmersdale to recruit a Sales Engineer on a permanent basis.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high performing existing sales team.
The company has built itself into a highly successful global business, offering turnkey design, engineering and manufacturing solutions for a range of industries.
STEM Graduates with some experience in internal or external sales, bids, tenders or commercial activities combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills will be considered.
As the Sales Engineer, you are responsible for:
* Owning and leading major Renewable Energy Project bids.
* Reading, understanding and interpreting the customer’s technical documentation, in order to determine the work scope and communicate to key functions within the business
* Collating information from various sources within the business in order to generate ‘best in class’ technical and commercial bids for Renewable Energy Projects.
* To conduct careful contract review of incoming sales orders ensuring full compliance with the tender/proposal.
* Where necessary liaising with purchasing in respect of outsourced components and products to obtain accurate costings.
* Where necessary liaising with technical, manufacturing and project departments in respect of lead times, material and tooling availability.
* Maintaining a work/priority schedule. Self-management of workload and priorities.
* Interacting with other functions as required.
* Support and participate in company-wide improvement initiatives.
* Complying with proposals processes.
