Are you passionate about people, community, and making a real difference? This could be the perfect role for you we are currently seeking a Companion Leads around Edinburgh for our community.
As a Companion Lead, you'll be at the heart of a service that brings warmth, connection, and support to those who need it most. Some days you'll be behind the scenes - coordinating volunteers, planning social events, and building community spirit. Other days, you'll be front and centre - offering companionship, supporting carers, and ensuring no one feels alone.
Connecting with individuals to understand how the Companion service can best support them
Supporting volunteers and carers with emotional and practical companionship
Organising social activities and strengthening our support network
Are confident using email, Word, and Excel for simple record-keeping
You'll need to complete an online application and provide two non-family references
