About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Highways Ganger/Foreman to join our growing team on highways and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable individual who can lead site teams effectively, ensure high standards of health & safety, and deliver work to specification and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate gangs on highways projects, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
*
Ensure all work complies with relevant health & safety standards and project requirements
*
Act as the main point of contact between site operatives and management
*
Monitor daily progress, manage site resources, and report any issues or delays
*
Support toolbox talks and site briefings
*
Maintain accurate records and site documentation
Requirements:
*
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
*
First Aid at Work – Essential
*
Proven experience running gangs on highways projects – Essential
*
Strong understanding of highways maintenance and construction methods
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
*
Full UK driving licence – Preferred
