Our client is seeking a dedicated Residential Property Solicitor with three years’ plus post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their established legal team in their Wells office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a property-focused solicitor to work within a respected and client-centric firm known for providing clear, honest and high-quality legal advice to individuals and businesses. The successful candidate will join a team handling a variety of residential property matters and will be supported in developing their expertise further.
Role Overview
As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will play a key role in delivering residential property services to clients, ensuring smooth and efficient property transactions. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential matters and providing expert, commercial advice in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a range of residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages and transfers.
* Draft, review and negotiate residential property documents, including contracts, leases and related paperwork.
* Provide practical and clear legal advice to clients, guiding them through the conveyancing process from start to finish.
* Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards, maintaining accurate and efficient case records.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent client service and contribute to team success.
Who We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in residential property law or conveyancing.
* Strong technical knowledge of residential property matters and conveyancing practice.
* Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
* A proactive and organised individual who can manage a varied workload independently.
* A positive team player who enjoys collaborative, high-quality legal work.
