Role Description - Registered Care Manager
We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Care Manager to join our team in Cumbria.
In this on-site position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care services and teams, ensuring that the quality of care provided to our service users is of the highest standard.
As a Registered Care Manager you will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated care staff, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
Qualifications for Registered Care Manager
• Proven experience in a senior management role within the social care sector
• A relevant professional qualification, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
• Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards relating to social care provision
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to provide the highest quality care
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively and efficiently
• Good computer literacy, with experience of using care management software
• A commitment to the values of person-centred care and a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS check
Job Type: Full-time
Registered Care Manager- Salary: £34,064.00 to £37,470.00 per year

About the role:
Specific service details (number of people we support, conditions, etc)
5 women live in the home, all have differing mobility and communication abilities. 3 people are in wheelchairs, 1 person is registered blind. All have health conditions that are affected by their learning disability.
They have complex health needs, the learning disability team and district nurses work closely with the staff.

The applicant would benefit if they have experience working with people with limited verbal communication.
The applicant must be experienced in managing rotas and have good IT skills.
The applicant has the opportunity to be a part of further developing the home to give people with limited mobility and communication the best life possible.
Rota details (days/nights / hours per week / days / weekends)
Office hours with some expectation of shift cover when needed, unannounced out of hours visits as and when required.
