About the Opportunity
The Volunteer HR Recruiter will play a vital role in sourcing, screening, and engaging qualified candidates for SkilledUp Life’s volunteer positions. You will collaborate with Team Leads to understand recruitment needs, manage pipelines, and ensure an excellent candidate experience from outreach to onboarding. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about HR, talent acquisition, and building strong connections with diverse professionals worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with leadership and Team Leads to define recruitment needs and strategies.
* Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and SkilledUp Life’s dashboard.
* Screen applicants, review profiles, and encourage candidates to complete their applications.
* Schedule and conduct interviews, prepare notes, and share candidate assessments with hiring teams.
* Draft, review, and upload Volunteer Agreements via PandaDoc/OpenSign.
* Maintain candidate records in Trello, HR08, HR14, HR18, and KPI trackers.
* Post and advertise open roles on SkilledUp Life’s dashboard, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
* Send outreach, follow‑up, and outcome emails (successful and unsuccessful).
* Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Product, and CEO on recruitment pipeline updates.
* Participate in weekly HR meetings and provide regular progress reports.
Requirements
* Fluent in English (written & spoken).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
* Comfortable with remote collaboration and digital tools.
* Professional, reliable, and adaptable.
* Interest in HR and talent acquisition.
Duration
* 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
* 60 Volunteer Days over 3+ months
