* Position: EAP Counsellor
* Location: UK
* Type: Full-time/Part-time (40 hours/week)
* Shifts: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm
* Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 gross per annum
* Benefits: Bonus structure and competitive benefits
* Work arrangement: Remote or hybrid depending on proximity to Ealing, London office
What you will do
Our EAP Counsellors engage with participants via phone, video, chat, and email, demonstrating our core value: The Power of a Good Conversation—creating connections to ensure clients feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Responsibilities
* Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling, support, and crisis management ethically and professionally, maintaining confidentiality.
* Thoroughly assess clients for suitability for short-term counselling.
* Manage high-risk calls and work closely with at-risk individuals.
* Refer clients to external resources or internal WPO services as part of our holistic approach.
* Develop clear, concise treatment plans collaboratively.
* Maintain accurate clinical and task documentation in our case management system.
* Perform additional tasks as deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications/Skills
* Minimum Level 4 diploma in Counselling.
* Full registration or membership with a regulatory body (BACP/BPS/UKCP/Other).
* Experience with short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, Systemic.
* Training in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is advantageous.
* Passionate about supporting clients globally.
* Culturally sensitive and adaptable, using telephonic interpreters as needed.
* Proficient in contact methods: telephone, video, email, text, live chat.
* Capable of working with clients facing substance abuse, crises, mental health symptoms, or relationship issues affecting personal or work life.
