Our South Kensington site is one of our busiest, and were looking for a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead our kitchen team to success.
The Role As Sous Chef, youll take a hands-on role in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and smooth, efficient service. Youll lead by example, train and motivate the team, and maintain the high standards that define the CHUCS experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, organised, and creative chef to grow within a respected London restaurant group.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in daily operations and during service.
Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs to maintain consistency and quality.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and HACCP standards.
Manage prep, stock control, and minimise wastage.
Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates.
Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence.
About You Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a quality restaurant.
Passionate about Italian and European cuisine.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills.
Food Hygiene Level 3 (preferred).
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
