Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Groups, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager, to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

What will I be doing?
As a Groups, Conference and Events (GCE) Sales Manager, you will, under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Groups & Events, be responsible for managing and converting group and event sales opportunities. This role focuses on driving sales efforts, maximizing revenue, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client to sustain revenue growth and long-term client relationships.
In this senior commercial role, you will engage closely with clients and guests to understand their needs, curate tailored solutions, and position the hotel as the preferred destination for meetings and events. Your responsibilities will include performing the following to the highest professional standards:
• Maximise all Groups, Conference, and Events revenue opportunities through strategic prospecting, negotiation, and conversion.
• Optimize revenue through upselling, negotiation, and strategic utilization of function spaces.
• Review business plans regularly, identifying gaps and implementing with the Director of Groups Conference & Events and the Revenue Manager, proactive strategies to optimise capacity, inventory and achieve revenue targets.
• • Collaborate with the Groups & Events department as well as support team development. • Collaborate with all departments of the Hotel and maintain clear communication. Act as a key link between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on objectives and seamless handover to operations.
• Maintain high service standards, policies, and procedures while contributing to the overall success of the Groups & Events team.
What are we looking for?
A Groups, Conference and Events Sales Manager within Hilton brands is commercially astute, relationship-focused, and guest-centric, working in close collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
• Proven managerial or supervisory experience within Reservations and/or Groups, Conference and Events Sales in the luxury hotel or leisure sector
• Strong leadership capability, with the ability to motivate, guide, and elevate team performance beyond established targets
• Advanced analytical skills, enabling interpretation of commercial indicators, pace, conversion, and competitive trends
• Exceptional selling expertise, with a passion for coaching and refining consultative sales techniques
• Highly developed organisational and planning skills, balancing strategic focus with operational precision
• A strong sense of accountability, resilience, and results-driven mindset
• Ability to perform with composure and clarity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving business demands and market conditions
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Knowledge of hotel Property Management and Sales systems
• Previous experience in the same or a comparable GCE Sales leadership role
