Job Title
Speech and Language Therapist
Location
Hillingdon Granges – comprising of Yiewsley Grange, Colne Grange and Upton Grange. The role will be predominantly based at Yiewsley Grange, with occasional support for other sites within the Hillingdon Granges.
Salary
Up to £53,200 FTE DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (one payment of £2,500 after one month and another after completion of final probation. T&Cs apply)
Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 16.30pm
Contract
Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

This role is part of a multidisciplinary clinical team that collaborates with education teams to provide vital provision.
We offer a £2,000 training allowance for CPD once probation has been completed.
Essential Criteria
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* HCPC registered
* 1-2 years experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT working in a similar setting
* Some relevant experience engaging with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
* Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma informed practice
* Experience of multidisciplinary working in a range of settings
* Experience of communicating with families, relatives and carers
* Interest in developing knowledge and skills in different areas of SaLT practice
* Good relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills
* Good communication skills (oral and written)
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Competent in core areas of SaLT practice and clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
* Knowledge of different SaLT assessment tools, types of intervention and support plan formulation
* Knowledge of legislation relevant to clinical practice and professional management for the client group
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Willingness to attend training and pursue further qualifications relevant to the client group
* ASD experience
Desirable
* Understanding of sensory and motor differences that may impact communication
* Understanding of the relationship between arousal levels and communication
