We are currently seeking a dedicated Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner) to join a dynamic team on a fixed-term contract basis for 3 months. About the Role
As the Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner), your primary responsibility will be to audit pathway plans, ensuring they meet quality standards and provide meaningful support to young people in leaving care. Your expertise in leaving care processes, combined with auditing experience, will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Candidate Responsibilities
Conduct thorough audits of pathway plans to assess their quality and effectiveness
Evidence what constitutes a good pathway plan, supporting continuous improvement
Review case files and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory guidance
Collaborate with team members to develop action plans for improvement where gaps are identified
Maintain accurate records of audit findings and prepare reports for senior management
Support staff in understanding quality standards and best practices in leaving care
Provide expert advice and guidance on care pathway development and documentationCandidate Requirements
Proven experience in leaving care services and auditing pathway plans
Ability to clearly evidence what a good pathway plan looks like
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation in social careBenefits
Competitive pay rate 24.52 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay or 33.31 inclusive of holiday pay
