Join Our Team as a Speech-Language Pathologist!
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to make a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our special education team for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload from PreK through 12th grade across two vibrant locations: Roseville and Warren.
About the Role
As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in empowering students to reach their full communication potential. Your expertise will help shape individualized education programs (IEPs) and provide essential speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders in students.
* Develop and implement tailored IEPs that address specific communication needs.
* Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
* Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to student success.
* Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Manage a caseload efficiently across both school sites, requiring regular travel.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License is required.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
* Previous school-based experience with elementary and secondary students is highly desirable.
* Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
* Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
* Reliable transportation for travel between school locations.
Working Conditions
