Description
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Oversee the month-end close process and produce accurate reports for management review.
* Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
* Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial regulations.
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the business.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls.
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
* A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of relevant standards.
* Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
* The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
Job Offer
* Daily rate of GBP 270.0 to GBP 330.0, depending on experience.
