Senior Care Assistant (UK Applicants)
Duties:
- Medication Administration, destruction, ordering, checking-in medications
-Lead and supervise junior care staff
* Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with meal preparation and assisting residents with meals
* Perform light housekeeping tasks
* Take a lead on new admissions to the home
* Manage and report on accidents and incidents
* Manage resident discharges with social workers and members of the medical team
-Care planning and risk assessment
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
