A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This is a nursing and residential care home that's perfectly positioned in one of the most beautiful seaside towns on England's south coast, set to open soon.
To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Key Duties
* Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
* Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
* Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
* Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Have a genuine desire to care for others.
* A good team player.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits & Compensation
Successful Support Workers will receive an excellent salary of GBP12.60 per hour with an annual salary of GBP23,587.20. This permanent full-time role involves 36 hours a week, primarily on nights.
