Salary: £38,582 - £45,621, assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep-ins per month

Understanding the Impact

Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s daily life, supporting them through their highs and lows. Our team leaders help young people regain their childhood and develop into well-rounded adults. It’s a role filled with challenges and small victories that make a big difference.

Our homes serve young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our goal is to create the best outcomes for our residents. As a team leader, you will be motivated by making positive changes, no matter how small, and celebrating these moments.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will oversee daily care, ensure smooth operations, and support staff to meet high standards. You’ll be prepared to deputize for the Registered and Deputy Managers. Building relationships with young people through compassion, resilience, and support is key. You will also provide leadership that inspires your team.

What We Offer

We reward your dedication with a competitive salary and benefits, including:

* Base salary: £34,302 - £41,341
* Sleep-ins: Up to 3 per month at £80 each (~£2,880/year), Attendance allowance up to £1,400/year
* Induction: Full 4-week training on our Care Academy
* Holiday: 7 weeks’ annual leave
* Career Progression: Opportunities for promotion and our ‘Aspire’ management program
* Flexible benefits: Adjust holiday, pension, and insurance options
* Wellbeing support: Employee assistance and wellbeing tools
* Medical coverage: Reimbursements for opticians, dentists, and discounts
* Meals provided at work
* Facilities: Modern, well-equipped environments
* Referral bonus: £1,000 for each successful colleague referral

Our Inclusive Culture

We celebrate diversity and encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work. Our workforce reflects the diverse backgrounds of the young people we support. Experience isn’t necessary—just a positive attitude, empathy, resilience, a UK driving license held for at least 12 months, and the Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification.

New team leaders will join our ‘Care Academy’ for four weeks of training with experienced professionals to prepare for supporting young people.
