Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro. In March 2024, we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Metroline was established in 1989, and is the fourth largest bus operator in London, running about 17 percent of the city’s scheduled bus services. It has been part of the largest private land transport company, ComfortDelGro, since 2000. Across the UK, Metroline employs 6,000 colleagues, helping carry over one million customers daily. ComfortDelGro operates in 12 countries with a global fleet of over 40,000 vehicles and more than 22,000 colleagues.

We are seeking individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service within our local Manchester communities. Your role will involve making journeys to our customers’ favorite places and ensuring their experience is enjoyable. Metroline drivers take pride in ensuring passenger safety by adhering to all rules and protocols at all times.
Responsibilities
* Ensure your bus is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition
* Drive safely in accordance with current road and traffic legislation, executing challenging manoeuvres when necessary
* Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
* Maintain professionalism while ensuring safe transportation for passengers
* Collaborate with the team and support functions to meet performance targets
* Work closely with management to identify and address malfunctions or improvements

* Hold a full PCV license and up-to-date CPC

Hours of Work
Full-time permanent contract, 38 hours per week, with shift work requiring flexibility for early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
