Overview

At Turning Point Scotland Services in Perth & Kinross, we support adults with learning disabilities or autism and complex behaviours. Our support teams work 24/7 in supported accommodation projects, individuals’ homes, and an outreach service across Perth & Kinross.

We deliver person‑centred care, tailoring support to maximise choice, autonomy and risk management in partnership with the Tayside Risk Management Group. A garden project at the Perth Harbour‑side gives clients a chance to develop employability skills in a supportive environment.


Role Summary

As a Support Practitioner, you will work one‑to‑one or within a team to provide practical and emotional support. You will encourage clients to achieve personal outcomes in daily life, including safety, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, and emotional well‑being.


Responsibilities

* Deliver individualised support to clients with a wide range of needs and complex behaviours.
* Promote client choice, independence and autonomy in everyday activities.
* Work collaboratively with family, friends, health professionals, social workers, advocacy services and team members.
* Manage and assess risk in line with the Tayside Risk Management Group.
* Participate in the Perth Harbour garden project to support skill development.


Qualifications & Skills

* No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
* Demonstrated values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity.
* IT skills are required for all vacancies.
* Successful candidates may be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of the start date.
