About the Employer:
The employer is a dynamic and creative individual who lives independently with her pet cat, Artemis. She is autistic and has PTSD, which can impact her daily life. Despite this, she leads a rich and fulfilling life, engaging in diverse interests and experiences, including being an accomplished author, working on film sets, participating in ice swimming and rowing expeditions, and living in various locations around the world.
Currently, her sensory, autistic, and mental health differences restrict her access to certain activities and needs. She is passionate about helping others with similar experiences and is involved in projects supporting NHS initiatives. The employer has sensory and communication differences and can experience periods of burnout. During sensory overload, she may become dysregulated and requires calm, compassionate support. Full training and shadowing will be provided to help support workers understand how to assist her effectively.

About the Role: Duties and Responsibilities
* Support and/or prompt attendance at appointments such as hospital or doctor visits
* Support and/or prompt access to sporting and leisure activities
* Assist and encourage socialization and participation in activities
* Develop a trusting one-to-one working relationship
* Support with managing paperwork and correspondence
* Work alongside other involved agencies
The individual's needs may vary daily, and tasks may change accordingly. You may be required to perform other duties as reasonably assigned. You must report all accidents immediately and ensure safety at all times. This position is subject to a satisfactory DBS check (costs covered).
Transport Requirement:
Must be a car driver and owner with business insurance.
