As a Senior Business Development Manager within the VBI-Carrier Sub-Sea team, you will drive growth, identify and secure new business opportunities, and deliver margin growth for large international fibre optic cable projects.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and implement commercial strategies that deliver agreed revenue and margin targets.
* Build industry partnerships and senior relationships to support VBI Carrier growth strategy.
* Coordinate and lead complex commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers.
* Act as the Commercial Lead on high‑risk, high‑value bid opportunities, managing a virtual bid team from qualification to contract signature.
Who You’re Looking For
* Strong experience in commercial contracts within the telecoms market and analytical decision‑making skills.
* Financial modelling experience and the ability to take a model from creation to approval.
* Track record delivering innovative commercial propositions in fast‑moving environments.
* Excellent relationship building with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Expert knowledge of mobile, fixed‑line or converged telecommunications and commercial deal considerations.
* High‑level Excel commercial modelling skills and relevant system knowledge.
